Mr. James F. Recupero, 55 of Maine, formerly of Medford and Boston, died on Monday at The Boston Home in Dorchester following a lengthy illness.
Beloved husband of Karin (Littlejohn) Recupero with whom he shared more than 16 years of marriage.
Born in Winthrop, son of Fiore “Frank” and Anna (Smiglas) Recupero of FL., he was raised in Medford. A graduate of Medford Vocational High School class of 1970, he worked as a service representative in the Telephone Industry.
Mr. Recupero enjoyed reading, gardening and watching westerns on television.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is the devoted father of Christine Egan and her husband George of Plymouth, Bryan Spano of MD., Michael, Derek and Mark Recupero all of Tewksbury. Cherished grandfather of Collin Spano; Jake Egan, Kaylee Egan and Benjamin Egan. Loving brother of Diane Buttaro and her husband Richard of Wilmington, MA, Michael Recupero and his wife Nancy of Rehoboth. Dear friend of Joseph McKenna and his wife Michele of ME. Memorial visitation Thursday in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD commencing at 3 pm. and will conclude with a Memorial funeral service at 6:45 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
