Mrs. Catherine M. Passatempo, 83 of Medford, died Sunday in the
Sawtelle Hospice Home in Reading following a lengthy illness. Beloved wife of Peter J. Passatempo (retired M.P.D. retired acting captain) with whom she shared more than 54 years of marriage. Born and raised in Boston, daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Salvaggio) DiBlasi. Mrs. Passatempo was educated in the Boston Public Schools. She worked as a clerk in Boston City Hall for many years in the Electrical Department. A very family minded person, she also enjoyed Saturday night Ballroom Dancing, gardening, reading and doing various puzzles. Devoted mother of Marie of S. Mirisola and her husband Frank of South Boston, Peter Passatempo and his wife Susan of Medford, C.P.A. Robert A. Passatempo and his wife Maureen of Stoneham, Atty. Ronald P. Passatempo and his wife Ann Marie of Lynnfield, Steven A. Passatempo and his wife Camille of Medford. Loving Grandmother of Marissa, Matthew, Steven, Michael, Patrick, Mark, Juliana, Jenna, Gabriella, Nicholas and Jason Passatempo.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main street Medford, Thursday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford at 9 am. Visitation Wednesday 4-8 pm.
Services will conclude with entombment in St. Michael Cemetery, Boston
