Catherine A. Petruzzelli, age 67, of Exeter, NH formerly of Wakefield, MA, died suddenly by accident, September 14th. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Petruzzelli and the late Norman Jalbert. Born in Boston´s West End she was the daughter of the late Fred and Anna (Lentine) Como.
Catherine was raised in Revere and was a graduate of Revere High School. She lived in Wakefield for many years and was very active in community affairs. She retired in 2002 from the Town of Wakefield where she worked in both the Public Works Dept. and Fire Dept. for tweny-five years. Catherine enjoyed listening to country music and following the Boston Red Sox. She was mostly devoted to her loving family and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her late parents she is predeceased by her brother, Anthony Como. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert A. Petruzzelli, devoted daughter, Lisa Orben and her husband Kevin of Wakfield. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Caitlyn, Jason and Zachary Anamateros, Anna, Skylar, D.J., Sarah, James and Kyle Orben. She is further survived by her sister, Rosalie Skillings of New Port Richey, FL and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave, Wakefield at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
