Obituary

Edward O. Hatch, 87, of Londonderry, NH, died Saturday, September 15, 2007 in the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry, NH. Mr. Hatch was born in Arlington, MA on May 17, 1920, a son of the late Maurice L. and Mildred (Spear) Hatch. He was a resident of Londonderry for the past nine years, formerly living in Derry for many years. Mr. Hatch was a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston and had owned and operated Hatch Printing in Derry for many years. He was a US Army veteran serving during WWII. Mr. Hatch was a member of the American Legion Post #9, the VFW Post #1617, the Lions Club and the Halcyon Club all of Derry. He was also a founding member and past president of the NH Graphic Arts Association.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Hatch; two sons, David Hatch of Derry, and Wayne Hatch of San Diego, CA; one daughter, Marsha Adams of Knoxville, TN; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Everett Hatch of Mass., and Ralph Hatch of Calif.; one sister, Alice Ste. Hillaire of Weare, NH; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were on Wednesday, September 19th from 6 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A graveside service was held on Thursday at 11:00am in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Hampstead Rd., East Derry. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Caregivers of Greater Derry, 58 East Broadway, Derry, NH 03038 or to the Greater Derry Boys & Girls Club, Box 140, East Derry, NH 03041.
