Wayne Thomas Plonka, age 55, passed September 15, 2007 at Kimwell Nursing Home after a brief illness. Mr. Plonka lived in Somerset most of his life. He was born September 20, 1951 in Fall River & was the son of the late Mitchell Plonka & the late Alma (Phillips) Plonka.
He graduated from B.M.C. Durfee High School & attended B.C.C. He served as a Constable for the Fall River Police Department for several years & until his death, he worked for the Fall River School Department at B.M.C. Durfee High School. Among his hobbies, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, & riding his motorcycle. He is survived by 1 Son: Shane T. Plonka of Somerset; 1 Grandson: Christopher & 2 Granddaughters: Casey & Callie all of Somerset. Several nieces & nephews.
Calling Hours will take place Tuesday 4-8 P.M. in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River. Cremation to follow.
