Joan A. “Bunny” Pilvelis, 68, of Salem, NH died Friday at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
Joan was born in Salem, NH the daughter of the late Jennie (Bojarski) and Stanley Rys. She has been a life long resident. Joan graduated from the Lawrence General School of Nursing and worked at Lawrence General Hospital for 25 years. Joan enjoyed sewing and traveling. She loved animals and most of all her family.

Calling hours will be Monday, Sept. 17 from 3-5 and 7-9PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
