
Beverly: Marie A. (Tache) Pesce, age 89 a resident of Harborlight House in Beverly, died Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at the Beverly Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Pesce.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Corrine (Michaud) Tache. During the World War II years she worked for Sylvania in Ipswich for the war effort. Marie worked for many years in the admitting office of Salem Hospital. Upon her retirement, she her husband, and 2 daughters moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Marie returned to Salem in January of 2000.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Paulette T. Pesce of Haverhill, Susan H. Pesce & Denise L. Davis both of Mississippi, a son-in-law, Michael Gleason of New Jersey, 2 brothers: Henry Tache and Norman Tache and his wife Annette all of Salem,2 sisters-in-law: Victoria and Lucienne Tache both of Salem, 6 grandchildren: Deborah & Katherine Gleason, Kimberly Sabertini, Angie Edwards, Tony Davis & James Gorski and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. Marie was the mother of the late Janet Gleason.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial mass on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 5 pm in Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Harborlight House Resident’s Fund, 1 Monument Square, Beverly, MA 01915.
