Cochran, Richard Henry, of Brockton. Husband of the Late Leah L. Stern Cochran -Bauer of Brockton died Tuesday 9/11/2007 in the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center.
He was 79 Years old.-born September 19, 1927 in Bridgewater Mass . Son of the late Ethel M. Irving Cochran -Brown and the late Henry Cochran, Jr.
He joined The United States Army at the age of 18 years and 10 mos.
Prior to his retirement he worked at Ivy Packet packaging, he also worked as a machine operator
He enjoyed Gardening. Country Music, Dancing, taking care of his Dogs. Feeding the birds, in his younger years he enjoyed hunting & fishing with his sons.
He is survived by three sons, Raymond Cochrane of Middleborough, Larry A. Cochrane of Wareham and Walter S. Cochrane of Middleborough; four daughters Victoria M. Payne of Rhode Island, Mrs. Holly Smith of Maine: Donna M. Sabin of Rochester, Mrs. Wanda J. Roberts of Berlin, New Hampshire. Pre deceased daughter Brenda L. Cochrane. 17 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday September 17, 2007 at 1:30 PM in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
