
Helen I. (Keresztesy) Sundhauss, 86, died Tuesday, September 11, 2007 unexpectedly at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Hermann Sundhauss. Born in Hungary, she moved to the United States at age 7 and settled in New York City, where she was raised. She was a graduate of New York City Schools. Mrs. Sundhauss was a resident of Stoughton since 1979, previously living in Lexington and Westwood. She worked as the Director of Human Resources for Imlac in Needham for many years, before retiring in the early 1980’s. She was a volunteer at both the Caritas Good Samaritan in Brockton and at the Stoughton Town Hall for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, traveling and cooking.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her son, Russell. She is survived by her longtime Friend and Companion Michael LaCivita of Stoughton, a cousin, Bela Kiss of NJ and several friends, including Dr. Sandy MacDonald, DMD of Plymouth and the Birchard Family; Geoffrey of VA, William of NH and Nancy of Concord. She is also survived by many other close friends.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 5-8 PM. Donations in Helen’s name may be made to Stoughton Council of Aging, 110 Rockland St., Stoughton, 02072. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
