Obituary

Daniel F. Sullivan, 72, of Dartmouth died Tuesday September 11, 2007 at home. He was the husband of Rita L. (Choquette) Sullivan; they were married for 54 years.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Daniel F. and Aloyse M. (Lawless) Sullivan, he lived in Dartmouth for most of his life.
He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
Mr. Sullivan was the former proprietor of Dartmouth Feeders.
He enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and spending time with his grandchildren. An avid fisherman, he was a member of the Cuttyhunk Anglers Club, Inc.
Survivors include his wife; five children, Maureen Sullivan of New Bedford, Margaret "Peggy" Duarte and her husband Mark, of Coconut Creek, FL, and Kathleen Nanopoulos, Steven M. Sullivan and his wife Laurie, and John D. Sullivan and his wife Geraldine, all of Dartmouth; his siblings, Regina Fletcher of San Antonio, TX, Karen Perry and Alicia Sullivan, both of New Bedford, and James Sullivan of Mattapoisett; and eight grandchildren, Lauren, Ross, Sean, Matthew, Luke, Jack, Kyle, and Kathryn.
He was the father-in-law of the late T. Patrick Sullivan and step-grandfather of the late Patrick Alexander Sullivan.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM in St. Mary's Church, South Dartmouth. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 4-8 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Interment private.
