Phyllis M. Sullivan, 88, of Derry, NH, died Sunday, September 9, 2007 in The Oxford in Haverhill, MA. Mrs. Sullivan was born in Waltham, MA on June 20, 1919, a daughter of the late Arthur J. and Mary Ellen (Goodrich) Burke. She was a resident of Derry for the past several years, formerly living in Londonderry, NH and in Waltham for 70 years. She was a former communicant of St. Mary's Church in Waltham.
She is survived by her son, James R. Sullivan of Palm Coast, FL; six grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, James F. Sullivan who died in 1973; her daughter, Donna King who died in 1997; and her sister Mildred F. Burke who died in 2003.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, September 13th from 6 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry. The burial followed in the Mt. Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
