Howard F. Bell Jr., 66, of Bridgewater, formerly of Stoughton, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, at New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton. He was the husband of Martha (Hebb) Bell.
Born Oct. 29, 1940, in Brockton, he was the son of the late Howard F. Sr. and Pearl M. (Rudolph) Bell.
Raised and educated in Bridgewater, he was a graduate of Bridgewater High School, Class of 1959.
Mr. Bell resided in Stoughton before returning to Bridgewater 4 years ago.
He was a chemical compounder at Copley Pharmaceutical.
Mr. Bell enjoyed painting and cooking; and loved Beagles and cats.
He was the husband of Martha (Hebb); father of Pamila Enos of Brockton, Timothy Bell of NH, Patricia Kirkpatric of FL and the late Pauline MaCleay; brother of Judith Hewes of Wareham. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial are private. Arrangements are by the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater.
