Donald D. Hamm, 91, of Norton died on Sunday September 9, 2007 at the Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Chelmsford, MA. He was the beloved Husband of the late Alda L. (Soule) Hamm.
Born in Smyrna, Maine on August 1, 1916 he was a dear son of the late Joel A. and Mildred (Harper) Hamm.
He grew up in Maine and was educated in Maine schools. Mr. Hamm was a retired Foreman having worked for the Halliday Lithograph Co. in Hanson, MA for over 15 years prior to retirement. He had formerly been employed as a farmer for most of his life.
Don enjoyed playing cribbage. He had lived in Norton for over 25 years and was a former resident of Sharon.
He is survived by his devoted children Dennis D. Hamm of North Attleboro, Diane E. Eastman of Los Alamitos, California and Michael D. Hamm of Billerica, his brother Lester “Dutchie” Hamm of Smyrna Mills, Maine and his sister Edith Lord of Bangor, Maine, also survived by 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours have been omitted.
