Tony Gerald David was born November 29, 1962 in Athens, Alabama to the late Mother Annie Ruth Miller David and Deacon George Donald David.
Tony confessed home in Jesus Christ at an early age and was a member of Greater Home Missionary Baptist Church. On February 22, 2007 he was united in Holy Matrimony to Helen Huffman David.
He departed this life on September 11, 2007 at 10:45 p.m. at Huntsville Hospital.
Tony has two sons: Justin Lynn David and Anthony James David, both of Athens, Alabama; three stepchildren: Robert Stanley McBay, Jr., Patricia Ward and Rebecca McBay, all of Athens, Alabama; one sister. Denise David Morris of Huntsville, Alabama; two brothers: Ronnie David (Amanda) of Athens, Alabama and Randy David (Glenda) of Athens, Alabama; two nieces: Alexis David and Olivia David, both of Athens, Alabama; five nephews: Joshua David, Jacob David, both of Athens, Alabama, Kenneth W. Morris, Jr., Jonathan T. Morris and Cortney L. Bush all of Huntsville, Alabama.
Funeral services for Mr. David will be Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Round Island Creek Mission Center, Lucas Ferry Road, Athens, Alabama 35614. Interment will follow in Thatch Mann.
