DRACUT - Annette Laurence (Germain) Gougeon, 94, a resident of Dracut, died Tuesday September 4th at Saints Medical Center in Lowell. She was the loving wife of the late Albert Gougeon.
She was born in Lowell on April 17, 1913, and was a daughter of the late Melville E. and Bernadette (Delisle) Germain. She was a graduate of St. Louis School in Lowell and she attended Lowell Commercial College.
Prior to her retirement she was employed for many years as a medical secretary by the former St. John Hospital in Lowell.
She was a member of the Dracut Senior Citizens, the Friends of the Elderly in Dracut, and the AARP. She was also a former member of the National Registry of Medical Employees.
She is survived by a brother Albert J. Germain of Lowell, a sister-in-law Lorraine Leigh of Lowell, and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Aurore Franciose of Natick, and the late Claire Robert of Hudson, NH, both of whom died the week of June 3, 1996.
It being her wishes calling hours have been omitted. A private Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT.
