Ilene (Minsky) Dorfman,69, a resident of Middleton & formerly of Peabody entered into eternal rest on September 8, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of 35 years to Marvin Dorfman.
Born in Boston, Mrs. Dorfman was raised in Revere where she attended school & graduated from Revere High School. She went on to study at Bentley College. For many years Mrs. Dorfman was employed as a bookkeeper in the construction industry. She was a member of Congregation Sons of Israel in Peabody.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Dorfman was the devoted mother of Estee Dorfman Foster & her husband Craig of Melrose & Jodi Larkin & her husband Jonathan of Maynard. She was the cherished bubbie of Hannah Larkin.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Bessarabian Society Cemetery, 232 Fuller St. Everett. Memorial observance will be held at her late residence, 701 Ferncroft Tower, Middleton on Tuesday following the funeral until 8:00 PM & on Wednesday from 10 AM until 2 PM.
