Alexandra Allaire (Pardey) Crampton, age 68, of Brandt Beach Ave. Mattapoisett and Bonita Springs, Florida, died December 20, 2002 at home in Mattapoisett after a long illness, surrounded by her family.
A life-long resident of Mattapoisett, she was the former owner of Mattapoisett Management, Inc., Grandma's Rocking Chair, and the former owner and designer of Creations by Sandy.
She was the daughter of the late C. Thatcher Pardey and Winifred (Nash) Pardey.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Lester A. Crampton, Jr; 7 children, Jeanine A. (Bernache) Tobolski of Lancaster, PA, Robert Bernache of Whitleyville, TN, Susan M. (Bernache) Fluegel of East Wareham, Eugene A. Bernache, II of Mattapoisett, Miriam L. (Bernache) Young of Mattapoisett, Raymond L. Bernache, Jr. of Fairhaven, Heidi M. Sansoucy of Fall River; 7 grandchildren, Elizabeth (Tobolski) Medeiros of Marietta, PA, Kathleen M. Tobolski and Caroline A. Tobolski, both of Lancaster, PA, Nathan S. Fluegel of East Wareham, Cory J. Heselton of Mattapoisett, Myles J. Heselton of West Wareham and Mattapoisett, Ciara A. Young of Mattapoisett; 4 great-grandchildren, Zachary M. Sass and Julia A. Fluegel of East Wareham, Benjamin M. Medeiros and Eleanor C. Medeiros, both of Marietta, PA.
She was the sister of the late Alice L. Pardey and great-grandmother of the late Hannah Beth Medeiros.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial gathering in her Brandt Beach Ave. home in Mattapoisett on Sunday, January 19th at 1 PM to celebrate her life.
