Rogers of Brockton unexpectedly September 4, 2007, Ronald J. “Ron” Rogers, Jr., 34 years. Beloved son of Judith E. (O’Brien) Rogers and Ronald J. Rogers, Sr. and his fiancée Janet Stover all of Brockton. Loving brother of Shawn M. Rogers of Quincy and Joseph J. Rogers of Brockton. Nephew of Ellen Spillane of Brockton, Noreen Santoro of Worcester and Margaret Avery of Whitman.
Visiting Hours will be held Sunday 2-5pm in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton. A Graveside Service will be held Monday at 9am in Melrose Cemetery. Ronald J. “Ron” Rogers, Jr. died unexpectedly Tuesday morning at the Brockton Hospital. He was born in Brockton, the son of Ronald J. Rogers, Sr. and Judith E. (O’Brien) Rogers both of Brockton. He remained a lifelong resident of Brockton, attended Brockton Schools and was a graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in 1990. Ron had been a technician at Gambro Healthcare in Weymouth, operated DasRed Graphics in Brockton and had also worked for Hanlon Shoe in Hanover and Braintree. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and cars in general, attending concerts and having fun with his family and friends. Ron’s family and friends will remember him as a free spirit, easy going and a people person.
He is survived by his parents Ronald J. Rogers, Sr. and Judith E. (O’Brien) Rogers both of Brockton, two brothers Shawn M. Rogers of Quincy and Joseph J. Rogers of Brockton and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
