Lucy DeLorenzo passed away at the Lifecare Nursing Home in Stoneham on September 5, 2007. She was 91 years old.
Born in Somerville, Lucy was a longtime resident of Medford and Malden. She worked for many years at the Converse Rubber Factory in Malden.
Lucy was the devoted wife of the late Thomas DeLorenzo for 39 years. She was the beloved mother of Marie Pinette and her late husband Richard of Malden and the cherished grandmother of Richard Pinette Jr., Theresa Pinette, Catherine Bartlett and her husband Fred and Marie “Tomi” Lucey and her husband Greg all of Malden. Lucy was also the great-grandmother of Meredith, Adam and Michael.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden on Friday, September 7th at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. prior to the Mass. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
