Obituary

Robert A. Carrier, 51, of Dartmouth died Wednesday September 5, 2007 at home after a brief illness.

Born in New Bedford, the son of Lucille O. (Charron) Carrier of Dartmouth and the late Ramon A. Carrier, he lived in Dartmouth all of his life.

He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, New Bedford.

Bob was employed as a carpenter and an auto mechanic. He was a sports enthusiast.

Bob served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his mother; a brother, Alan Carrier of Dartmouth; four sisters, Michelle Murphy of Millis, Jeannine Johnson and Lynne Mastera, both of Dartmouth and Annette Carrier of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; several nieces and nephews.


Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Saturday, September 8th at 8 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, Tarkiln Hill Rd. at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Friday, September 7th from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to The Veterans Transition House 20 Willis Street New Bedford, MA 02740.
