Frances C. (Hawkes) Hansen of Westwood, formerly of Dedham and Roslindale, died September 5, 2007. She was 92. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl M. Hansen.
Mrs. Hansen was born in Boston and was the daughter of the late John and Bertha Hawkes. She worked as a clerk and lived in both Dedham and Roslindale for many years before moving to Westwood.
She was the devoted mother of David F. Hansen of Walpole, Lilly E. O’Brien of Dedham and Walter C. Hansen of Wrentham. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Sister of Helen Washek of Pleasanton, CA.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Friday at 8:00 AM with a funeral mass in St. Denis’ Church, Westwood, at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Interment in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston.
