Venessia Ann Morrison Venessia Ann Morrison, 72, Clarksville, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 10 am Thursday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. B. J. Brack and Rev. Bob Miller officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday and from 9 am until the hour of the service Thursday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born May 23, 1935 in Indin Mound, TN. daughter of the late Erbin L. Wortham, Sr. and Sadie Richardson Wortham. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Wyatt Morrison, brothers Jimmy Wortham and Erbin Wortham, Jr. and nephew Michael Wortham. Venessia was retired from the Montgomery County Clerks Office where she was the renewal supervisor. She was a member of Cumberland Heights United Methodist Church. Survivors include step-sons, Nickie Morrison, Clarksville, and Tony Morrison, Braselton, Ga.; brothers Virgil Wortham, Indian Mound, TN and H.R. Wortham (Christina), Clarksville; nieces, Sherri Morrow, Rhonda Davis (Bob), and Kay Murphy(Wayne) all of Clarksville; four great nephews and two great nieces. Pallbearers will be Bob Davis, Wayne Murphy, Taylor Wortham, Johnny Morrison, Kenny Harrison, and Nickie Lee Morrison.
