Gregory Stanley Russo, 33, of Fairhaven died Saturday September 1, 2007 at Boston Medical Center. He was the husband of Megan (McCoy) Russo.
Born in Haverhill, the son of Stanley S. and Sharon L. (DeFreitas) Russo of Marion, he lived in Mattapoisett and Marion before moving to Fairhaven.
Mr. Russo was formerly employed as a network engineer at the Newport Naval Base.
He was a 1992 graduate of Old Rochester Regional High School and attended Marist University. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1996-2000.
Survivors include his wife; his parents; two sons, Adrian Charles Stanley Russo and Stanley William Russo; a brother, Matthew Stanley Russo of Saugus; a sister, Julie Marie Lefavor and her husband Daniel of Marion; his grandparents, Lena Russo of Saugus, and Eugene and Marie DeFreitas of Newburyport.
He was the grandson of the late Stanley Russo.
