Obituary

Worcester – Ernest Clark Caissie Sr., 70, of Danielson, CT and formerly of Worcester died on Monday, September 3, in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness.

His wife Rita M. (Beeso) Caissie died in 1999. Mr. Caissie is survived by a son Ernest C. Caissie Jr. and his fiance Anne Marie Codding and her daughter Theresa Ann Maheu all of Danielson, CT with whom he lived; A sister Lynn Beeso of Worcester; and a grandchild. Mr. Caissie is predeceased by two daughters Debora M. Dillon and Donna A. Caissie; a sister Eunice Caissie and two grandchildren.

He was born in Orange, MA son of Leon and Grace (Clark) Caissie and lived in Worcester for most of his life. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and also served in the Army National Guard.

Mr. Caissie worked for the City of Worcester in the Sanitation Department for 39 years. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan as well as loving country music and being a regular customer at the Pickle Barrel Restaurant for over 40 years. He will miss his friends at the St. Francis Day Program, his dog Charlie and a close friend Cesear.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, September 6, at 11 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are on Wednesday, September 5, from 4 to 6 PM in the funeral home.
