Marie D. LaBrosse,, 51, of Minerva Street, Woonsocket, died Thursday at home. She was the daughter of Beatrice (Ferland) LaBrosse-Fontenault of Glocester and the late Paul R. LaBrosse.
Born in Central Falls, she had been a resident of Woonsocket for the past 22 years.
She was a past Special Ms. Rhode Island and a participant in the Special Olympics. She had worked at the former ARC of RI, now named the Homestead Group in Woonsocket.
Besides her mother she is survived by a brother Paul A. LaBrosse of Tillman, SC, two sisters Liesse L. Lynch of Rehoboth, MA, Renee J. McNeilly of Glocester and two nieces and eleven nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 9:30 am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening 4-7pm in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
