WEBSTER – Wesley M. Richard, 50, of 250 School Street, died Friday, August 31, at home after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 26 years, Linda D. (Arnold) Richard; 3 children, Julie Richard, Jason Richard and his wife Rachel, all of Southbridge, and Jeffrey Richard of Webster; 3 brothers, Wayne Richard of Webster, William Richard of Danielson, CT and David Richard of West Palm Beach, FL; 2 sisters, Kathy Dunn of Dayville, CT and Margaret Kane of Dudley; a grandson, Kalen Richard; uncles,aunts, nephews and nieces.
He was born in Worcester, the son of William and Claire (Reil) Richard. He lived in Webster most of his life.
Mr. Richard painted and sandblasted I-beams when he worked in bridge construction before he retired. He enjoyed collecting lighthouses and boats.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, Sept. 4, at 11:00 AM in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Calling hours are from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Tuesday, Sept. 4 in the funeral home. Donations in his memory may be made to the family.
