Obituary



Phillip A. “Phill” Brosseau, 47 died unexpectedly Wednesday August 29th in the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center.

Born in Syracuse, New York and raised in Pembroke he was the son of Paul Brosseau and the late Vera (MacDonald) Brosseau.

He was a native of Pembroke and attended Silver Lake schools graduating from Silver Lake High School in 1978 before moving to Florida where he lived for 20 years before returning to the area in 2005.

He was a communicant of Saint Joseph the Worker Church in Hanson.

Phill loved music and played both the trombone and tuba in his high school band as well as the bass guitar in a rock band.

He is survived by his father Paul Brosseau of Pembroke, his former wife Deborah (Sobik) Brosseau of Florida, his children Kevin and Jared Brosseau both of Florida, his sisters Paula Doherty and her husband Michael, and Patricia Brosseau all of Pembroke and Pamela Brosseau of Halifax. He is also survived by his nephews Michael Jr., Matthew and Marc Doherty.

His funeral will be held Wednesday September 5th @ 7:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte 58 @ the rotary circle) Whitman. Burial will be at a later date.
