DRACUT, MA – Conway Seto, 65, of Dracut, died Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
Born in China on February 25, 1942, he was the husband of Julia (Suen) Seto, to whom he was married for 38 years. He was a son of Yuk Nam Szeto of Boston and the late Yuk Chu (Wong) Szeto.
He was raised and educated in China and Hong Kong. After moving to the United States in 1968, he attended the Sylvania Technical Institute in Boston. Mr. Seto worked for Wang Labs for many years and then for several computer companies in the Merrimack Valley and in Southern New Hampshire.
Mr. Seto was a member of the Toastmasters Club and APICS. He also enjoyed photography and the Internet, and visiting the New Hampshire seacoast.
In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Seto is survived by two sons, Eric Seto of Weymouth and Edwin Seto of Redwood City, Calif.; two brothers, Frank Szeto of Alameda, Calif., and Vincent Szeto of Canton; four sisters, Pauline Chong of Scarborough, Ontario; Julie Wong of Montreal, Quebec; Kim Szeto of Houston; and Fookuen Chan of Methuen; four grandchildren, Melinda, Luke, Sofia and Olivia Seto; an uncle, Bruce Seto of San Francisco; and six nieces and 10 nephews.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT on Monday from 1 until 4 p.m. His funeral will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gibson Cemetery in Pelham, N.H. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
