Obituary

Worcester - Tadeusz Podolak, 84, of 6 Loxwood Street died on Tuesday December 17 in St. Vincent Hospital - Worcester Medical Center after an illness.

His wife Czeslawa (Zolyniak) Podolak died last December. He leaves two sons Waldemar Podolak of Worcester and Robert Podolak of Worcester; a daughter Gabriella Zaleski of Charlton, two sisters Olga Krawczyk of England and Bronislawa Kuncewicz of Canada ; 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Podolak is predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters. He was born in Kalinowka, Poland son of Michal and Antonina (Farfus) Podolak.

Mr. Podolak worked for the Table Talk Co.for many years retiring in 1983. He previously worked as a carpenter.

He was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses and spent 2 years in a concentration camp.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday December 21 at 10:30 AM in Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St.. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are on Friday December 20 from 5 to 7 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
