Jacques C. Brissart 75, of Saco, ME died Wednesday after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Dolores (Turcotte) Brissart. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Henri and Alexanderina (Belland) Brissart.
Mr. Brissart was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was also the founder and president of Concepts Unlimited in Acton, MA retiring in 1980. Mr. Brissart was a member of the American Foreign Legion and VFW in Kennebunk ME.
Besides his wife, Mr. Brissart is survived by two daughters; Elaine Brissart of Stow MA, Linda Walton and her husband Robert Walton of Saco, ME, two grandsons Keith and Kevin Bonneau of Stow MA, a brother Albert Brissart of the Phillipine Islands, and a sister Jacqueline Wante of Woonsocket. He was also the brother of the late Emile Brissart.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 am in St. Joseph’s Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours are Friday 4-8 pm.
