Anne J. (Hoey) Duross, 65, of Needham died August 27, 2007 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Duross.
Mrs. Duross was born in Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, Ireland and was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Reynolds) Hoey.
A longtime Needham resident, she was a self employed Custom Drapery Maker.
She was the devoted mother of Charles J. Duross and his wife Lindsy of Holliston, William H. Duross and his wife Monique of Marlboro and AnneMarie Sharp and her husband Eric of Watertown. Sister of Patricia Reilly of Houston, TX, Tess Cleary, Kate Portman, Rita Tuohy, Alo Hoey, Angela Moriarty and Brendan Hoey all of Ireland. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., Needham, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral mass in St. Bartholomew’s Church, Needham, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham.
