Elizabeth D. (Pendleton) (Wright) Deschenes, age 75, of Lowell, died Monday, Aug. 27 at Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Andre Deschenes who died in 1987.
She was born in Tewksbury on August 25, 1932, the daughter of the late Adelbert and Dorothy (Booth) Pendleton.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Deschenes was employed as an assembler with Silicon Transistors in Chelmsford for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, animals and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by six children and their spouses, Cheryl and Dennis Sevigny of Dracut, Wendy and Roger Ducharme of N. Chelmsford, Edward and Sara Wright of California, Kevin and Barbara Wright of Derry, NH, Tami Macri of Haverhill and Jon Wright of Milford, NH; her grandchildren, Dawn, Kimberly, Edward, Jr., Jessica, Sarah, Jessica, Kevin, Alexandra, Emily, Rebeca, Jennifer, Michael and Andre; one great granddaughter Brooke; her former husband, Chester Wright of Gulfport, MS. She was the sister of the late George Pendleton.
Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, on Thurs. Aug. 30, from 4 to 7pm. Cremation to follow. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday morning, Sept. 4, at 11 o'clock at St. Joseph Cemetery to which relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
