Margaret Harper, 91, of Fitzgerald, died Sunday, August 26, at the Life Care Center.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM, Tuesday, August 28, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, with Evan Harper officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until the funeral hour.
Miss Harper was born June 3, 1916, in Irwin County, to the late Henry Brooks and Bessie Johnson Harper. She was a homemaker and lived in the community most of her life. Miss Harper was Baptized in Macon in 1978 and was a member of The Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidering and was an excellent seamstress.
She is survived by her sisters, Mildred H. Moore and Eleanor Harper, both of Fitzgerald, Josephine H. Meeks of Coffee County, Martha H. Fussell of Wray and Mary H. Mitchell of Douglas as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
