Corine C. Faulk, 88, of Fitzgerald, died Monday, August 27, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, August 30, at Central United Methodist Church, with Rev. Steve Waldorf and Rev. B.J. Funk officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Faulk was born November 15, 1918, in Dodge County, to the late George Levi and Mary Elizabeth Brown Cook. She lived in the community most of her life, retiring from the Monarch Company after 30 years and was a former Dietician with The Colony Home. Mrs. Faulk was member of Central United Methodist Church and the Upper Room Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Faulk is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Franklin & Faye Faulk of Enterprise, AL; grandchildren and their spouses, Mike & Shirley Faulk of Jesup, Tim & Yvonne Faulk of Birmingham, AL and Denise & Ricky Stringer of Screven; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; son-in-law, Rev. Jack Dorminey of Denton; sister, Mattie Durham of Stone Mountain; very special friends, Nina & John Carroll and Shayla Giddens, all of Fitzgerald as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Franklin Faulk and a daughter, Fern Faulk Dorminey.
