Middletown, RI - Ariel F. (Savaria) Lawrence, 89, of Tiverton, RI passed away August 27, 2007 at John Clarke Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late George W. Lawrence, Jr.
Born in Rochester, MA, daughter of the late Charles H. and Olive (Bradford) Savaria, she was a lifelong resident of Tiverton. Mrs. Lawrence was a member of the First Baptist (Old Stone) Church, Tiverton and was a former member of the Ladies Aide Society of the First Baptist (Old Stone) Church. She also enjoyed needlework.
Survivors include 2 sons: James W. Lawrence of Falmouth and Alan R. Lawrence of Fall River; 3 daughters: Gail McHugh of FL, Shirley F. Taber of Tiverton and Nancy A. Lawrence of Texas; a sister: Agnes Lawrence of Rochester; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Joseph Savaria, Charles Savaria and Beatrice Gournet.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Pleasant View Cemetery, Tiverton at 11:00 A.M.
