Virginia Ruth Langston Strunk, age 77, passed away on August 25, 2007 in Carriage Inn Nursing Home in Steubenville, OH. Born in Yalobusha County, MS, she was the daughter of Billie Crum and Ruth Audrey Pate Langston. She was formerly from Water Valley and was a member of the Water Valley Church of Christ.
Visitation will be at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 2:30 to 3:30 PM with the service starting at 3:30 PM in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home. Officiating at the service will be Brother Billy Sasser. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS.
Survivors include; daughter, Anita Hayles Pead of Hopewell, VA; sons, James Michael Strunk of West Liberty, OH and Larry Eugene Strunk of Lima, OH; sisters, Martha Jean Williamson of Water Valley, MS, Carolyn Fewell of Water Valley, MS and Dorothy Ann Smith of Water Valley, MS; and a brother, David Lamar Langston of Water Valley, MS. She leaves 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Billy Langston (March 1987).
