Mildred L. (Daddario) Mourey, 93 formerly of Franklin, died August 24 in the Woodside Manor Nursing Home in Rochester, New York. She was the wife of the late Henry A. Mourey, whom she was married to for 55 years, who died in 2000.
Born in Franklin, November 14, 1913 the daughter of the late John and Annuncia (Cataldo) Daddario, Mrs. Mourey had lived for most of her life in Franklin.
A homemaker, she had been communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Franklin.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Mourey and his wife, Margaret of Rochester, a daughter, Patricia Reynolds and her husband, Paul of Hilton, New York and her daughter-in-law, Jeanne Mourey of Franklin. She was the mother of the late Richard Mourey.
She was the sister of the late Joseph Daddario, Anna Whittaker, Marguerite Burgess and Amelia Vignone.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Devin, Jenna and Matthew Mourey, two step-grandchildren, her brother-in-law, Victor Mourey and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 29 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin at 8:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church in Franklin at 9:00 a.m.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
