MEDFORD - Robert M. Luscombe, age 73, died suddenly, on Monday, December 10, 2001 at his residence. He was born in Stoneham on October 04, 1928 to the late Frederick B. and Lucy L. (Wiggin) Luscombe.
Mr. Luscombe was a lifelong resident of Medford and a communicant of the First Community United Methodist Church of Medford. After graduating from Medford High School, Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Once home from the war, Robert was employed as a Jet Engine Machinist for General Electric for 48 years until his retirement in 1995.
Robert married his beloved wife, Charlotte, of 46 years, at the Wellington Methodist Church in Medford on April 23, 1955.
Robert is the beloved husband of Charlotte M. (Downes) Luscombe of Medford, Loving father of Mark R. and his wife Sandi Luscombe of Tiverton, R.I. and the late Marcia E. Luscombe. Devoted brother of Thelma J. Tibbetts of Burlington and the late Fred B. Luscombe, Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL INFORMATION: A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Road, Medford, Friday morning at 10 o'clock., followed by a memorial service at the First Community United Methodist Church, 55 Otis Street, Medford at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford.
