Obituary

Rita A. (Blais) Landreville, 87, of New Bedford died August 23, 2007 at home after a long illness.
She was the wife of the late J.U. Bernard "Bernie" Landreville to whom she was married for 56 years.
A lifelong resident of New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Edith (Lachance) Blais.
Mrs. Landreville was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne.
She was formerly employed by Sears, Roebuck & Company.
Mrs. Landreville enjoyed cross-stitching, crossword puzzles, dancing, spending time with her family and friends and the company of her two dogs Missy and Schnook.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond Landreville, and his fiancée Robin Loomis, of West Hartford, CT, and Norman Landreville and his wife Nancy, of New Bedford; a daughter, Susan Goulet, and her husband Lawrence, of Inverness, FL; six grandchildren, John of Pennsylvania, Julie of Connecticut, Jaymeson of Fairhaven, Heather of New Bedford, Chad and Scott Goulet, both of Florida; two great-grandchildren, Faith and Paige, both of Fairhaven.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Saturday, September 1st at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be on Friday, August 31st from 5-8 PM.
