Northborough/Boylston—Pauline Martina “Paulie” Breault, a former 56 year resident of Boylston, died peacefully at home early Wednesday, August 22, 2007, after a full and exciting life. Pauline’s beloved husband, J. Donald Breault, died July 19, 1971 and her twin brother, Paul O. Chabot passed May 5, 2003. Pauline will be fondly remembered by her four children, Donna M. Leonard of Oxford, Robert P. Breault and his wife Christine of Trafford, PA, Denyse C. Curtis and her husband Robert of Dove Canyon, CA, and Martina Breault DiTullio and her husband Tony of Boylston. Pauline took enormous pride in her nine grandchildren, Kevin, Jodie, Amy, Heather, Dana, Chrissey, Nick, Jennifer and Monique, and her eight great-grandchildren, Brian, Dakoda, Jayme, Cori, Caden, Molly, Sofie and Emily. Pauline also leaves a sister-in-law, Kathleen Chabot of Worcester, two nephews and a niece. Pauline’s best friends Tess Anastasi, Louise Curci and Nancy Erickson will cherish the many years that they shared.
Pauline was born November 18, 1917 in West Quincy, MA and graduated from Commerce High School. She married Don on October 9, 1943. In the 1960’s and 70’s, Pauline was the assistant manager of Howard Johnson’s on Lincoln Street, Worcester. She went on to work as a hostess at Mount Pleasant Country Club for many, many years, up until her last day. She enjoyed five generations of club members’ families just as much as they enjoyed her. She will be remembered for her dutiful work ethic, warm welcomes and positive attitude. Pauline enjoyed her toy poodle Louie Garcon, speaking French, birds, traveling, reading, wine and fashion, but especially her family. She is forever cherished and shall be missed dearly.
Pauline’s family invites all those who loved her to a memorial service commemorating her zest for life on Monday, August 27, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Hills Parish, 620 Cross Street, Boylston and to a reception following the mass at Cyprian Keys Golf Club, 284 E. Temple Street, Boylston. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
