Obituary

Vidas Paskauskas, 61, of Snake Hill Road in Glocester, died Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at his home. He was the husband of Susan (Beaudoin) Paskauskas. They were married for 18 years.

Born in Flesburg, West Germany, a son of Emily (Vaisnyte) Paskauskas of Putnam, CT. and the late Pius Paskauskas.

Mr. Paskauskas was a welder for Teknor-Apex in Pawtucket before retiring in January. He was an Army veteran. His passions included his family, riding his Harley-Davidson and fishing.

He is also survived by a son, Benjamin Paskauskas of Glocester; a brother Gedas Paskauskas of Boston, two nephews and a great niece. He was the brother of the late Regina Enrikaitis.

Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at 9am in St. Eugene’s Church, 1247 Putnam Pike, Chepachet. Burial will be private. Visitation Monday 4-7pm in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Matulaitis Nursing Home, 10 Thurber Road, Putnam, CT 06260.
