Muriel (Blaisdell) Fish, 80, of 25 Ellis St., Rumford, RI a waitress for many years, died Sunday at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence.
She was the wife of the late Alden B. Fish Sr.
Born in Haverhill, MA she was the daughter of the late Arland P. Blaisdell and Edith Young Blaisdell.
Mrs. Fish worked as a waitress for many years at Elsa’s Lodge and then at the To-Kalon Club, both in Pawtucket. After her retirement, she worked for the East Providence Answering Service.
She was an animal lover, an avid reader and also enjoyed bowling and playing bingo.
She is survived by a daughter, Penny Nahabedian of Rumford, RI, a brother, Everett Morley of Tujunga, CA; a sister, Virginia Chapman of Miami, Fla., 5 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Alden B. Fish Jr., and sister of the late Ted and Merle Morley.
The funeral service will be private. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic. There are no visiting hours.
