Lillian Louise Heath, 96, of Ty Ty died Sunday, November 13, 2005, at Cypress Pond. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, at Ty Ty Baptist Church, Rev. Danny Jones and Rev. John S. Gibbs, Sr. will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Seth Rowland Swan, Jerry Monroe Rowland Jr., Philip Beggs, Mark Mitchell, Billy Heath and Ronnie Heath. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 15, 2005, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Heath was born on July 18, 1909 in Tift County and was the daughter of Fred Manning Shiver and Mary Samantha Willis Shiver, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Heath, a Tift County farmer; three sisters, Clara S. Morris, Helois Phillips Bedgood and Helen S. Rowland; and one brother, Fred Shiver, Jr. She worked for many years at S & R Shoe Store, later Sam Neels' Shoes.
Ms. Heath is survived by one sister-in-law, Mrs. Fred Shiver, Jr. (Nelta Royal) of Macon; five nieces, Mrs. George Beggs (Rosemary Phillips) of Marietta, Waunelle Morris of Poulan, Mrs. Ray Mitchell (Clarice Morris) of Doerun, Mrs. Eric Swan (Theresa Rowland) of Greenville, South Carolina, Mrs. James Leonard (Joyce Heath) of Brasstown, North Carolina; four nephews, Earl Morris of Montgomery, Alabama, Daniel M. Rowland of Jacksvonille, North Carolina, Jerry Monroe Rowland of Americus and Billy Heath of Tifton; and several cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
