Florence H.(Balkcom) Wright, 88, of Shrewsbury, MA for the past 55 years died on Tuesday August 21, 2007 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton. She was the beloved wife of the late Milton Wright, Sr.
Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on June 29, 1919 she was a loving daughter of the late Harold and Florence (Moore) Balkcom.
She grew up in Cumberland, R.I. and was also educated in Cumberland schools. Mrs. Wright had been employed as a Metal Twister for the Parker Metals Co. in Worcester for 25 years before retiring.
She was the dear sister of Harold I. Balkcom and his wife Ellen of Norton and the late Kenneth Balkcom, Robie Scalley and Rose Wilson. She was the devoted mother of the late Milton Wright, Jr.
Graveside services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Wednesday September 5th at 11:00 A.M. at the Mountain View Cemetery in Shrewsbury.
