Mae Bell Willis Conger, 88, of Tifton died Thursday, December 8, 2005, at Largo Medical Center, in Largo, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2005, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Calvin Bobo will officiate with burial to follow in Oakey Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 10, 2005, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Conger was born on March 28, 1917, in Berrien County and was the daughter of David Henry Willis and Eliza Jane Sinclair Willis, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Virgil Conger, who died on November 28, 1999; six brothers; and six sisters. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
Mrs. Conger is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Kenneth and Debbie Conger of Point Venture, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Les Mandelker of Bellaire, Florida; four grandchildren, Kim Gibson and her husband, Ken, David Conger and his wife, Shelley, Zev Mandelker and Blakelee Mandelker; and one great granddaughter, Meghan Gibson.
