New Bedford - Brian Leaver, 51, of New Bedford, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2007 at home after a lengthy illness.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late Lewis and Enid (Howard) Leaver, he had resided in the New Bedford / Fairhaven area for most of his life. A graduate of Fairhaven High School, he was a programmer at the former Cliftex of New Bedford and also worked at Building #19 Warehouse. Mr. Leaver was an avid sports fan.
Survivors include a daughter: Erin M. Leaver of New Bedford; a brother: Kevin Leaver and his wife Maggie of New Bedford; several nieces and nephews including Myles Leaver and Kevin Leaver, Jr.; dear friend: Ozzie Acevedo of New Bedford; and his former wife: Cheryl Leaver of Fairhaven.
He was the brother of the late Jeffrey Leaver and Susan Costa.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, August 25, 2007 at the Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 635 Purchase St., New Bedford at 3:00 P.M.
Burial will be private.
