POLICELLI, Arthur P., Sr., 88, of Elmhurst Drive, Greenville, died Sunday, August 19, 2007 at his home. He was the husband of the late Louise J.(Cipriano) Policelli.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Paul and Albina (Martino) Policelli, he had been a resident of Smithfield for 42 years.
He was a WWII Army veteran. Along with his family, he founded the former Cameo Manufacturing Company in Providence.
He is survived by his son, Robert A. Policelli and his wife, Lynn of Smithfield, three grandchildren, Janelle, Joseph and Jamie; a brother, Henry Policelli of Johnston and three sisters, Veronica Parrillo and Lola Sionne both of Cranston and Jennie Coia of Johnston and his companion, Sue Bird. He was the father of the late Arthur P. Policelli, Jr.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial withe military honors will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 4-7pm.
