Mrs. Irene B. "GG" (Sayers) Duchesne, 90, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, passed away Monday, August 20th, 2007 at the Caritas Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
She was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, the second oldest to six children, to the late Rose and Albert Sayers. Mrs. Duchesne was educated in the Haverhill Schools and worked for the Lawrence Maid Footwear in Lawrence, Massachusetts for some 18 years. She was a parishioner of Saint Patrick's Church in Lawrence, MA. and was a Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Irene had a great love for Gardening and was known for her famous Holiday Cookies.
She was the loving wife to the late: Mr. Thomas H. Duchesne who passed away in August of 1992.
She is survived by her daughters:

Lillian and her husband Wayne Arleque of Andover, MA
Grandchildren:
Wendy and her husband Michael Archambault of Stratham, NH.
Lori and her husband Jim Doyle of Southington, Conn.
Lynn and her husband Greg Weaver of Auburn, AL
Kathleen and her husband Chris Botkin of SanteFe, NM
Jeffrey Arleque an Andover Police Officer who is currently serving in Iraq as a 1st Lt. in the Army National Guard.
Great Grandchildren: Jimmy Doyle, Haley Weaver and Elijah Botkin.
Sister: Lillian Kraynak of Bradford, MA.
Brother: Armand Sayers of Haverhill, MA
Sister-in-law: Rose Marie Duchesne of Lawrence, MA
Brother-in-law: Normand Duchesne of Lawrence, MA
As well as several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 24th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Patrick's Church in Lawrence, MA.
Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
