Mr. Leo G. Dube, age 41, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died unexpectedly on Sunday August 12th, 2007 at Saints Medical Center. For 10 years, he was the beloved husband of Leslie (Hawkins) Dube.
He was born in Lowell on July 20, 1966, son of the late Emile & Jeanne Marie (Charbonneau) Dube.
He was employed as a mechanic at Kazanjian Auto Parts & Towing Service in Lowell for 15 years. Prior to that, he was a roofer for many years, having worked for several local roofing companies.
He was an avid Professional Wrestling fan, and car-racing fan.
Besides his wife, Leslie, he leaves two sons: Michael Rios and Robert Bonilla, both of Lowell; three daughters: Ashley Marie Dube and Jessica Bonilla, both of Lowell, and Lisa Marie Dube of Maine; two brothers: Paul Dube of Lowell, and Dennis Dube and his wife Gail (Hawkins) Dube of Lowell; three sisters: Carmen Martin and her husband, John, Rosie Sylvester and her husband Donald, and Carol Hawkins, all of Lowell; two grandchildren: Nakyla Rodriguez and Maddox Bonilla; also many nieces & nephews. He was also brother of the late Alfred Dube and Mike Dube.
Relatives and Friends will be received at the M.R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St. Lowell, on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Friday morning with a Funeral Mass to take place at St. Patrick Church in Lowell at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Westlawn II Cemetery, Lowell.
