Catherine M. (Koch) FRANK of Winthrop, passed away at the Woburn Nursing Center, in Woburn, MA, on March 30, 2007. She was 85. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard C. Frank. Born in Boston, MA, She was the daughter of the late August and Caroline M. (Berlo) Koch. She was the devoted mother of Catherine P. Baranofsky of Woburn, Richard J. Frank of Chelsea, Walter E. Frank of Bedford, Joseph C. Frank of Tewksbury, and William G. Frank. Sister of the late Joanne F. (Koch) Baranofsky. Adored grandmother of 17, and great-grandmother of 1 great grandson. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements were by the Maurice W, Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. Winthrop. A Funeral Mass was held at St John the Evangelist Church, on Mon, April 2, at 10am. Interment was in Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section). Donations in her name may be made to the Fuller House 32 Franklin St. Stoneham, MA, 02180. Catherine was a member and past President of the Winthrop Catholic Woman’s Club. Prior to her retirement, Catherine worked as a cashier at the Rindge High School in Cambridge, MA.
